Making A Purchase
Before you will be able to make a purchase you will need to register for an online account.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we will need to be able to complete the order.
If you are not paying by credit or debit card, once the order has been received by our customer services team, a representative will contact you to arrange payment. The order will not be despatched until payment is received.
We accept all major credit and debit cards as payment for orders. For orders placed outside the UK, please contact our office directly to process your request.
Confirmation of your order will be emailed to you; this will indicate that your order has been received for processing. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
Postage rates are based the value of the total order amount before VAT and are as follows:
Order total under £100.00 (ex VAT) = £5.50 (ex VAT)
Order total over £100.00 (ex VAT) = FREE OF CHARGE
Once a member of our customer service team has received the order, we guarantee a 48 hour delivery service, 24 hour where possible.
Orders will be accepted for execution at process ruling at date of despatch and in packaging available at that time. Palms Extra Ltd reserves to itself an absolute discretion as to the acceptance of orders and no responsibility is accepted for delay in delivery of any order.
On delivery of goods, cartons must be signed for. Any damages or shortages must be notified to Palms Extra Ltd within 48hours of delivery both to carrier and to Palms Extra Ltd. If goods are not received in full as specified on the invoice by the 10th day from the date of invoice, a written notice must be sent to Palms Extra Ltd otherwise responsibility for non delivery cannot be accepted.
DPD are the chosen courier service and we will use the email address and mobile.
Back Orders We do not offer back orders. If a product is out of stock please email head office who will add your request to our waiting list to contact you when the product is available.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee Trading terms and conditions apply in Great Britain and Northern Ireland and are subject to alteration without notice. Acceptance of these conditions shall be implied by the placing of any order. Palms Extra Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site where they are strictly necessary for the site functionality. They are used to aid navigation, and to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart. If you log in to an account, your logged-in status is recorded in a temporary cookie. If you select the 'Remember Me' Option in the checkout, a cookie will be used to remember your details. You can turn off cookies by blocking them in your browser Privacy settings. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use them.
Palms Extra advises that all goods be carefully inspected on receipt to ensure satisfactory condition.
1. Palms Extra must be informed by telephone (0800 252172) or email (email@example.com) of any faulty, damaged or goods sent in error within 5 working days of receipt of this order. A Returns Code will be issued and a replacement, a credit note or a refund will be organised on return to Palms Extra. For items being returned by the Customer, please include proof of postage from the Post Office in order for postage costs to be refunded.
2. Palms Extra must be informed by telephone (0800 252172) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) of any unwanted goods within 5 working days of receipt of this order at which time a Returns Code will be given. A refund or credit note for the amount paid for the product will be issued on satisfactory receipt of the unopened, unused product.
Palms Extra must be informed by telephone or email of any faulty or damaged goods sent within 5 working days of receipt of order. Palms Extra is unable to accept the return of products for any reason other than those stated, due to hygiene reasons. Colours may vary due to application method used and the photographic quality on individual monitors.
Palms Extra are not bound to refund, replace or credit items that are not visibly / obviously damaged, faulty, sent in error or deemed unwanted by the Customer. This is at the discretion of the Company.
3. Sale items
Please note that Palms Extra standard Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of all Nubar sale items. Palms Extra would like to advise that due to reduced lines, replacement stock may not be available, in which case if a product is deemed by head office to be faulty, a credit or refund will be offered.
Palms Extra will be reducing stock levels of Nubar products and when we are at a stage of ceasing to supply the Nubar brand, all product queries will need to be forwarded to the US Head Office.
Palms Extra Ltd reserves the right to charge carriage on any order. Where credit terms are offered payment shall be made within 30 days of invoice.
No title to or property in the goods delivered shall pass to the purchaser until full payment, including any tax, has been made to Palms Extra Ltd. Until payment for goods is made the purchaser shall hold all goods delivered on a fiduciary basis only. The purchaser however has the rights to sell such goods but shall, to the extent that payment has not otherwise been made, hold the proceeds of sale thereof on behalf of Palms Extra Ltd.
